Romance is sweet..
When I was younger I knew I always wanted to get married. I would watch my parents growing up and their marriage and their love for one another and I knew one day I wanted that. I didnt know what love really was or how it “felt” besides it was a warm fuzzy feeling and your heart raced and butterflies in your stomach all when you saw that person.
When I met Jon my first reaction to him wasn’t any of those feelings..sadly but it only took a little bit of time for him to capture my heart. Being married is one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me. Jon is my best friend and how amazing it is to be married to your best friend!! I wake up just so thankful that I could be so blessed to have someone like him in my life now and forever..till death parts us. I now know what love is and what it means to be IN love and to say I LOVE YOU and mean it truly. I know that no other man could be the man that I need besides Jon and thats the beauty in God’s will..is because He gave me the perfect man for me. He wakes up so early to go to work to provide for me, comes home and sometimes cooks dinner if I’m not home yet, wants me to be comfortable and lets me know how much he loves me everyday.
Thank you Jon for being that amazing man and a true spiritual leader.

Lately…
Ive been wanting to sketch..to design outfits..to make clothes..to start our company. Its such a huge ambition we both have but its one that we still believe is possible. This weekend jon’s brother kept asking about it and encouraging us to start it now rather than later..its a risk no matter how you start a company. We’ve taken classes and this is what we both studied…business..but you either make it or break it in business and especially in the fashion world.
like Heidi Klum says ” one day you’re in and the next day you’re out”
But its something we gotta just go far and start little by little.

its been awhile..
things have changed in the past 2 months
1. Graduated from college..class 2010
2. Went to Texas to finish planning a wedding
3. Got married in Texas
4. Honeymoon roadtrip back to Socal!
5. Rented a room for a month
6. Jon and I both got jobs
7. Got an apartment
8. Finally living a semi-normal life :)
sheesh..i could probably put more in there but thats about it summarized.
We are having fun playing house and organzing and using our giftcards and being husband and wife. its crazy to think im a wife now. its been fun and exciting and every morning i get to wake up to my best friend. working is alot different being out of college but its good experience. a job is a job right? it pays the bills..right now i’m praying God gives me another one but only if its His will.
the other day jon and i were thinking about how crazy our lives have been in the past 2 months and how much we have to be thankful for.
Thank you Lord for providing us with an apartment beyond our dreams, furniture, jobs, each other, friends and family. You have blessed us beyond what we could ever have imagined and help us to use what you have given us to bless others.
